     I am at a work dinner with my husband. He sits to my left, the foremost authority on Medicare law is next to him. Across the table from me is a former Cabinet secretary. To my right is the CEO of a large, very influential healthcare advocacy organization. We are at a Fancy Restaurant.

     Dinner is family style. When the mashed potatoes are passed to me, I take a spoonful, and then inadvertently DROP THEM ON MY HAND.

     They are very hot, and I yell “Oh fuck!!!!”

     I may never be invited back. 🙄🤦♂️
