Quite funny how all the farthuffers who were going on and on about New Vegas 2 last year are now saying they're OK with the NCR being nuked off screen lol

@weaf new vegas 2 will always be a pipe dream. even if they make it eventually it will suck balls. people really need to learn to let go of their obsessions with franchises made by people who hate them.

@flux_the_cat I believe stories should end.

@Groomschild @flux_the_cat My hot take is there should never be a progressive legion. It should be pragmatists vs reactionaries. The NCR is already your "progressive" legion tbh

@flux_the_cat @weaf most interesting would be a legion victory in the battle of the hoover dam. The game is set up somewhere in Texas after the collapse of the legion due to the death of Ceaser

@flux_the_cat @weaf and the overarching plot is the fight between texans vs traditionist legion vs progressive legion.
that way they can maintain the cowboy theme of new vegas

@flux_the_cat @weaf yeah there is really no where they could go with that story. the most they could do is have a story of their progeny like with fallout 2

@Groomschild @weaf that wouldn't be a horrible concept to start with but even then i don't see where you could go with it. you'd have to set the game another 200 years in the future and to the best of my knowledge new vegas is the most current timeline.

@weaf i do too. the story of the mojave and the courier was pretty well wrapped up once all the DLC was finished. there's way more hours to sink into fallout new vegas than most RPGs by a long shot. it's hard to imagine how they could improve upon that story with a sequel.
