Bread up, Bro (sickburnbro@poa.st)'s status on Thursday, 18-Apr-2024 01:14:50 JST Bread up, Bro @lichelordgodfrey @s2208 the fear isn't just about money, it's about what is the nature of art.
When people can generate beautiful stuff with a few words it will put a very powerful knife to the shitty art that passes as elite art. -

Lichelord Godfrey (lichelordgodfrey@poa.st)'s status on Thursday, 18-Apr-2024 01:14:51 JST Lichelord Godfrey @sickburnbro @s2208 the only artists fearing it make fan art, normal and pornographic, for a living.
they're capable of making something more if they're any good but that takes more effort and time.
the machine can create yet-another-elf based on some anime or video game because it was fed that information to train it, but it would never be able to make a Rembrandt unless it was already made (which in the case of Rembrandt, it is, duh) and then trained on it.
It can only iterate.
