IMPROVE PEOPLE _NOT JUST TECH_ (freeschool@qoto.org)'s status on Wednesday, 17-Apr-2024 03:21:59 JST IMPROVE PEOPLE _NOT JUST TECH_ @niconiconi That's a bit harsh and distractionary equating Mastodon to our beloved WinNT... :)
The mighty Gargron might have mixed feelings about that,....And yes Akkoma (which doesn't even have it's own Wikipedia page :blobrofl: )

K.I.S.S. users would have selected Akkoma anyway, the resource requirement is lower than Mastodon by an order of magnitude. Mastodon is the Windows NT of the Fediverse, average in every aspect, the only true advantage it that it can run random .exe.

IMPROVE PEOPLE _NOT JUST TECH_ (freeschool@qoto.org)'s status on Wednesday, 17-Apr-2024 03:22:01 JST IMPROVE PEOPLE _NOT JUST TECH_ @niconiconi My older system can't even see Misskey sites so Mastodon wins there by default for showing up / keeping it simple!
And who knows how many avoid Misskey because of those dependencies (ok maybe not many but every user counts :blobwink: K.I.S.S.) -
