   His lawyer made some mistakes, the judge obviously reslly didnt want to deal the the case and the anti SLAPP statute was very high to overcome so much that it was later amended to lower the burden of proof

     the judge was a complete diaper shitting moron. anti-slapp is supposed to give every deference to the plantiff (it's a vibe check, not a trial) and instead he ran the whole thing as a bench trial. he also scuffed pretty much all of the laws (literally just said he must be a public figure because people showed up to the gallery; that's not the test.)
