Moved the coffee table onto the balcony, as suggested.
It's perfect out here, I love it.
I knew my next apartment had to have a balcony, after not having one in the previous place.
But I was a little worried it would be like the swimming pool I had in the previous place; I thought I had to have a pool, & then used it twice in 6 months.
This balcony is way more important to my happiness. I'm out here every day, and I can grow plants that thrive (because it's north-facing).

Have to see how it fares on the next really rainy & windy day though, and if the rain comes in far enough to hit the coffee table.
It's a covered balcony, but the building leans back slightly so that the front metre or so gets all the rain.
Great for the plants, not so great for indoor furniture that I've decided to put outdoors

This lil froggy friend is going to enjoy being on the balcony nestled in with the plants.
The stick comes out & you can run it across the ridges on froggy's back to make a sound vaguely reminiscent of a frog's croak.
I got it in Bali as a gift for my kiddo, but they didn't like it as much as I did, so I ended up keeping it for myself.
