     Jokes aside, for those who aren't aware, Twitter was written in Ruby and is among several huge players who also use Ruby like GitHub and Shopify.

     The real obscure language can be found in some toots 🤪

     nobody is using Shopify here, Github is a specific dev stack, 50 % of the web runs PHP and jQuery
