Okay, so last night I was on a date, and I asked hubs what he was up to at work, and he told me he learned Python, so he could write a program to help people troubleshoot computer problems on their own.
I ask him, "You're creating a program to replace yourself?"
Apparently, just the boring easy stuff he doesn't want to deal with, because he has better ideas about how he wants to use his time at work.
Is this what you smart people do all day?!

@RickiTarr @mensrea YES! Don't tell anyone! My job used to take hours. Now with templates and Ai, I'm doing stuff in minutes.
I even schedule emails to go out later in the day to make people think I've been slaving away all day 😎

@fartnuggets @RickiTarr @mensrea Yeah. I'm on salary, so I get paid whether I spend a few minutes or all day on a project.
The pay isn't that great tbh. But free time I get is priceless.
Also, stop boosting this, I thought this was OUR SECRET!😂

@sand @RickiTarr @mensrea they're paying you to do the work, not to have your butt in the seat for hours a day. You find a way to do it more efficiently, that time belongs to you unless and until they give you more responsibility and more money to go with it. Good on ya!
