Few people—if any—keep their Commodore 64 around for word processing. Don’t get me wrong, I have a soft spot for Easy Writer. But that’s not why the C64 is remembered.
No, if you still have a C64 around, it’s probably used for Turrican or Lode Runner or Paperboy. And if not those games, some other games.
This is why, if you want tech to stay around, make it appeal to gamers.
