   I literally do not know how to explain the #Fediverse to these people. They just… refuse to learn OR understand.

     No problem.

     I want this to work, but at the same time the biggest issue will be convincing people to flip the switch on both sides of the network.

     Yeah, but even a Beta has to provide some reason to test it out.

     On my Threads account I turned on Fediverse, and aside from a like on a post just now I get no real experience. It just makes me visable on the Federated network. Nothing else.

     Now, once it's got a bit less one sided you'll have a better case and ability to display the benifits.

     The problem is right now on the Threads side that is exactly their experience. Why turn it on when it's one sided and your on the side that's not seeing shit?

     @CWSmith Well, if they had read the explanation Meta gives you before enabling it, you would know what is going on and would realise that it is a BETA and not something Final.
