     @Paultron @professionalbigot69 You ever see the boat made out of fungus roots? I reckon we can use fungus to do some wild stuff and fulfill the role of plastics in a lot of applications, especially if we can find a way to seal it. I'm thinking spar or something that's "natural" so it won't quickly degrade but will degrade into something fully compostable when the time inevitably comes.

     @BowsacNoodle @givenup @professionalbigot69 'farming' mushrooms is so much different than growing plants.
     No correlation at all, none. The work that needs to be done is lab work, lots and lost cleaning, and waiting. One would also need several climate controlled chambers. (Temp RH, ventilation)

     @Appelmoesje @givenup @professionalbigot69 And yet they grow just fine in the middle of the woods. I know people who grow them in a sac at their house, and I've heard people have allegedly grown "magic mushrooms" in their closet. Industrial scale would certainly be a different situation than a homegrown setup, but I have to think it's entirely doable.

     @markcuban @Appelmoesje @givenup @professionalbigot69 True, but some things like cool weather and stable temp ranges with a lot of moisture, like mushrooms. I know it's got to be indoors, but it makes sense to do it where you're not battling as hard against the outside environment.
