It's much easier to control people who are anxious and dependent than people who are happy and free

PsychicParrot (Jeff) 😷 (psychicparrot42@mastodon.gamedev.place)'s status on Tuesday, 09-Apr-2024 19:36:55 JST PsychicParrot (Jeff) 😷 In my opinion, the answer to being a creative and to staying alive *shouldn't* be for us to get better at the business side, but instead for there to be a guaranteed livable basic income for everyone. It would not only lift people out of poverty, but allow us all to explore and fulfill our potential. There is *more* than enough money sitting dormant to do it, too. Just a relatively small tax on the rich could easily pay for a much better society that puts humans first, rather than corporations.
