   Who needs colanders when you can simply punch a few holes in a piece of cardboard and view the eclipse safely and indirectly from there?

   Course, I ended up missing everything because of clouds and rain when the near totality hit my area (South Louisiana, near Lafayette). Got a little dusky, but didn't know whether that was from the eclipse or from the rainclouds. Oh, well....maybe I'll be alive in 2050 when the next one hits near my area.

     Did you use a colander to see or take pics of the eclipse? I know we laugh at it, but I seriously enjoy seeing others’ colander pics. In such a divided time, at least we all have colanders in common! Anyone remember Hands Across America?
