    Its soooo hard for me to take any group seriously that can ask me to vote for Biden and in the same breath sincerely argue the man isnt senile. At least if they admited his obvious senility it woukd show enough self awareness of the party that i might even consider getting on board.

      @freemo Eh, he's certainly not what he used to be, but "senile" might be a bit far. Every time I start thinking that, he delivers a good speech or jokes around with reporters, showing a degree of cunning that seems incompatible with senility.

      @freemo Probably the more honest point of view is: vote for Biden knowing that after a while he will be replaced by Kamala Harris.

      By the way, USA democracy and democracy in the west is mainly a farce. It can be improved a lot.

      @ABScientist Huh? No it isnt. There are usually 4 or more choices for president on every ballot.

      The problem is that the choice is between two people. So it is bad or really bad.

      @ABScientist all votes go to the cabdidates you vote for. One with the most wins.

      What happens to votes that do not go to the two main candidates? Are those simply ignored? Or do they go to the candidate with the highest number of votes?

      @ABScientist

      Correct. And if those who voted for B and C voted for D then D would have won.

      What ifs dont matter because they didnt, and they wont.

      @freemo

      So if candidate A gets 45%
      candidate B gets 35%
      candidate C gets 5%
      candidate D gets 5%,

      A will be the winner and gets all the votes/points/representatives (winner takes all).

      If those voting for C and D would have voted for B, B would have won and takes everything?
