@lewis @mia and if things get super spicy, libries like p-queue can be a lifesaver
@mia You can if you wrap the whole thing in Promise.all, because async really was just sort of bolted over the top

@eaton Thanks! For now, I've just switched to a for loop, and it's working fine.
(where 'fine' involves some amount of rage and regret for past decisions)
