     @sickburnbro Funny how shortsighted it is, too. They could have gotten the legal guild fags on board with taking a very strident "free speech" platform, just so they could get everyone to loosen up about giving up online anonymity.

     "oh what's the worst that could happen? Nobody's suing you over words! Just let us ban anon posting online!" would be an easier sale than having to sell it while witch hunts are actively destroying lives every day.

     Mayor Daley did this to suburban Chicago gun shops. He openly bragged about bleeding them dry with legal costs, regardless of small matters of legality.
