   @shoq Taibbi and other bottom feeders often fail to explain how other countries have avoided problems that America has, like gun violence.

   But we know why and how (pssst, it usually involves laws and regulations)

     The people like Taibbi who subscribe to the idea that “we need to hit rock bottom” before social change is possible, never seem to explain why that hasn’t happened in other countries that punched right through the floor a long time ago.
