My main takeaway is that the wheels are barely connected to the Cybertruck
Also the Cybertruck is incapable of driving over sand. It's a pavement princess it seems.

@sjw looking into this more it seems the truck actually performed fine and the driver was retarded. Eventually someone with offroad experience said to deflate the tires and Lo and Behold, the truck miraculously removed itself from the beach

No sure what video you're referring to, but unless you're on crazy terrain, you shouldn't need to deflate tires. I just keep mine at 55 for most rock trails and I can get over nearly anything even without the diff locker on.
The big problem with the Cybertuck is that it comes from the factory with both diff lockers disabled. That makes zero sense. Why are they going to enable a physical locker with a software update? Unless it's not a physical locker? I can't find any real info on how the drive train actually works.
The other issue is that the cybertruck is fucking heavy. You don't take an F-250 off-road, or a Tundra. People typically buy big trucks to tow boats. They're great at that, but terrible offroad. The Cybertruck weighs as much as a F-250/Tundra/Titan, but has no where near their tow capacity.

@djsumdog @sjw @s8n
I believe it was sand

@sjw @djsumdog nah basically any truck would get stuck in sea sand. A naive driver would get a 4wheeler stuck in sea sand

@djsumdog @s8n yeah deflate if you're stuck but it shouldn't have gotten stuck on just regular sand. It's entirely a software problem so it could get fixed.

@djsumdog @sjw weight is one of the biggest concerns but make sure your criticism stays in the valid range, no truck operates on that kind of terrain without a very skilled driver. This is just another case of silicon valley retard in a tesla driving where he's not supposed to
if the truck couldn't get out under its own power that's one thing but this one did by just lowering tire pressure which is such a basic thing many trucks have dash controls for increasing and decreasing tire pressure in off-road land

@djsumdog @sjw in fact for 75k it might be valid to criticize the tesla's lack of a compressor that auto-feeds the tires
