     @cinerion a lot of the women in places are now like, extorting everyone for cash to even reply to DMs. between that and ten years of rejection and being used up and dumped i kinda just gave up on the whole concept of happiness :comfystoner:

     I mean, signed up for an account like 10 years ago for similar reasons, but it never went to anything because i didn't feel attracted to anyone there (or anywhere else), anyways.

     @cinerion yeah its really bad. there's a lot of people that if they get the good job and all that, just get a passport and go somewhere else. there's a lot of places that aren't woke yet and you can get dates by just being a decent person. i dunno about domestic but there's increasing amounts of people here sayings it's largely pointless and bullshit, unless you get very very lucky and find someone local through happenstance. but the dating apps are trash.

     @icedquinn@blob.cat That's... tough, i'm sorry to hear that. I just never tried, never cared enough, so i haven't dealt with rejection save for a few times. If the dating landscape is like that now It makes me want to remain away from it all the more. :neocat_woozy:
