   I finally got the switches to make my network backbone 2.5gig it won't do much for individual devices or anything going outbound but hopefully things should be less of a clusterfuck

     @jamie_blumberg I just run cables along the edge of the floor since I never could convince my dad to let me have cables run. hopefully these new meds mean I can move out eventually

     @Rasp Do you have ethernet cabling in wall, or is this more of an aftermarket DIY kind of setup? I want to get my next house wired for ethernet if I can.

     @Rasp Me tooooooo. I will need to have some electrical work done at the new place at some point (installing a Level 2 electric car charger) so I'm going to consider wiring the place for ethernet at the same time.
