   @tobiaalberti @cryptpad @MastodonEngineering Because Mastodon removes everything in a URL after the # in the link preview. It's pretty crazy, and there's an old issue about it on github

     Link previews for #CryptPad docs on some apps/websites have a strange issue. Here's an example as far as Mastodon is concerned: https://cryptpad.fr/pad/#/2/pad/view/GQrFN4ZtjxDx1Qf2Yy5bWqOhKzhbeOs7yair9HhkfEg/

     If you click the link (above) you open the actual document. If you click the related link preview (below) you just create a new empty document.
