     You're right. We should improve our current existence for everyone currently alive and for future generations, not because we'll be rewarded by some god after we die, but because it is the logical and ethical thing to do.

     I find this very gross and concerning. Your implying that life in this world is less valuable compared to the promise of an eternal life that isn't even supported by any empirical evidence and that one should sacrifice their current life for this unproven afterlife? This is extremely dangerous thinking that leads to a devaluation of present experiences and priorities and promotes a mindset of disregard for personal well-being in favor of an unverifiable future reward.

     @Radical_EgoCom @ethanmcreynolds Also sounds a lot like the Musk's promess of eternal Mars, or the effective altruists bet for a glittering future so they can hoard their billion$ while the rest is left pennyless so vilond can thrive in a possible future. Lots of legroom for manipulation.We are only certain that THIS life exists, and This present. We should work to make it better for all. Here and now.
