Wouldn't he say "Render onto America," the image of the masons/pyramid on the back, or render onto Europe, the euro?
The philosophy is the coin belonged to the state, but his followers transcended the state; provided for like the birds, by their own work and by the grace of God. -

The entire reason the Jews didn't like Jesus was really because he was against Taxes... had nothing to do with whatever they said about God blah blah.... this is why so many people hate the Federal Reserve.?🤔 -

when you dive into the minutia of it, it waters it down and makes excuses for taxing people in a temple for God... it was quite an absurd way to collect money. Churches should not follow this method of doing business. -

djsumdog (djsumdog@djsumdog.com)'s status on Monday, 01-Apr-2024 01:11:59 JST djsumdog The IRS is not a temple. Jesus made clear distinctions between the church/temple/house of his father, and the Romans. He was not a political messiah, which is why you see Judaism continue (the rejection of a non-political messiah, leading to their collapse at the hands of Emperor Hadraine around 135 AD) and why Islam emerges (the acceptance of a war messiah).
Render onto ceaser means exactly that. If the IRS asks for 100% of your money, give it to them. It has their image on it anyway. The church provides for each other in the ways the State never will.
🤔 Now that I really think about it, the message can be interpreted as "the money was never yours anyway. It's engraved with the image of a nation." When you think about it, those dollars or euros in your pocket (or stored digitally on your account number) aren't yours at all. You're just allow to use them by the State. -

It's like saying the IRS is a temple, and every year by April 15th if you don't pay, they crucify you.
