@thomasfuchs @MichaelPorter I keep cringing at all the “eclipse glasses” — which are just thin film — being given to children. One tiny, well-positioned scratch = instant blindness. NEVER LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE EFFING SUN.

When did “make a pinhole in a box big enough for your head, stand with the sun behind you, and safely project an image of the eclipse on the inside of the box” become so hard?
