     @TornadoOfTerror @Wolffkran it's this school of thought, this complete, yawning maw of understanding they have of what our beliefs and impulses are. This is the kind of mind that writes media that's supposed to convert us today. That's why we always end up wondering why they write villains that are more logical and endearing than their heroes - they don't even know how to appeal to sanity at the most basic level.

     @TornadoOfTerror @Wolffkran I'm glad other people are on board w/ this, I've been saying it forever. I remember how titan showed up and got IMMENSE popularity in the US, particularly among the youth. THere were all kinds of panic articles of journos seething that it "glorified fascism". Japs are utter pushovers, and all it takes is a phone call from someone at the embassy saying they represent "powerful" groups/people who are "worried that the direction of your publication will foster extremism".

     It doesn't make sense why the guy used to be so consistent about who he was and what he liked, only to literally give the protag a 180º character turn that's just about as purposefully displeasing to those who idolize him as you can.

     ZOG and its priests HATE heroes, and they love being able to write a character they believe their enemies worship - if they were writing the ending themselves, how could they make Eren look any worse, weak, foolish, and faggy than they did? They literally made the cuckiest dialog they could, made the worst ending they could imagine so that future kids wouldn't "go alt-right" out of their admiration for a protag who's unrepentant about looking out for he & his.

     The ending about eldia being holocausted was just the writer's last little spurt of authority over the story, a way to underhandedly throw it back in his editors' and publishers' faces. That's why it's so scatterbrained, the story was written by one man only to become a script-by-committee at the 11th hour.

     @TornadoOfTerror @Wolffkran The long delays in publishing more of the show are also interesting to me. Strikes me as there being a power struggle between financiers, yanks, & japs trying to strike a balance of capitalizing on interest in a niche market but being hamstrung by financiers who want to divert that customer enthusiasm towards something less 'fascist'

So they needed some kind of special metal to penetrate their hides? Why not make a bullet tipped with that metal? Or an arrow? Instead they need some ridiculous spider-man ziplines that couldn't work in a million years. Our ancestors hunted herds of elephants with sticks and rocks, and they figured it out.
