     Especially in conversations that have long escaped the orbit of the possible and are frankly making a break for escape velocity from the hypothetical

     @HauntedOwlbear I honestly think a lot of us of other genders encounter a ton of blowhards before we even know what that is or to question them. And I'd believe that scares us into feeling inadequate, because almost no one with a real knowledge base feels that cultishly confident in it.
