I have an Apple Watch.
Just updated to new version of WatchOS.
It used to log me on automatically to my Macs.
But after the update it doesn't auto logon any more.
I've been through Apple's instructions, to no avail.
Any ideas??

@davew Check to see if Sign in with Apple Watch is still selected in Settings. If it is not and will not allow you to turn it on. (This happens) first reboot Watch and iPhone and then see if that fixes it. Check settings again. If still a no go, on your Mac, sign out of Messages in iCloud. Resign back in. Give it a few minutes and see if that corrects it. This happens to me quite a bit as Apple monkey’s around on the back end with iCloud stuff. /1
@davew The above steps sometimes, sometimes not get me back to normal. When it doesn’t, waiting sometimes correct things, again pointing to iCloud issues on the back end. Not a satisfactory method, but Apple Support suggests it. /2
@davew I’ve written about my too long battle with this here.
Hope some or any of this is helpful. FYI I had the same issues yesterday and the Messages solution is what got things back on track.

thanks for helping, but the box is checked.
@davew That’s intriguing. That’s a twist I haven’t seen.
