   @lmorchard my point was specifically about the very vocal campaign to try and make sure there is no choice (see #fedipact)

   People who can run servers do have opinions, I don't think it's a great idea to be tightly coupling DevOps experience with who should be making moderation and safety decisions on my behalf

     Not sure if you are intentionally misleading or genuinely misunderstood, but it would be nice if people could be honest about their arguments.
