     @vaartis@pl.kotobank.ch GTK3 and Wayland support are coming in GIMP 3. A development version is already available.

     @vaartis@pl.kotobank.ch It is https://packages.gentoo.org/packages/media-gfx/gimp, but not in stable of course.
     
     The development version is 2.99

     @vaartis@pl.kotobank.ch But yes it is pretty ironic that GIMP that once invented GTK is now not using the latest version of GTK.
