     I am also watching Kaiju no. 8 but i am hesitant because the backgrounds really carry the manga and I don't know how that is going to translate.

     @romin Plot is somewhat generic but I like the characters.
     
     There's also the "wait didn't we lewd this one years ago?" spice and wolf remake.

     there are a lot of other shows that i'm going to watch, but i don't know if they'll be good yet

     @romin I suppose it depends how you react to a deviation from the LN.
     
     Not sure this season has a lot of other masterfully written LNs as source materials.
