   @gabek @darnell@darnell.day Most Threads users will not enter the Fediverse due to the simple fact that activating ActivityPub is opt in.

   I would not be surprised if Flipboard surpasses Threads in Fediverse users, as the two are roughly the same size.

     @darnell I appreciate your approach of trying to slice and dice this, but if Threads is on the Fediverse, then a Threads user is a Fediverse user, whether we like it or not.
