     @sabogato One would think? The official U.S. line is that "this should not be seen as a change in U.S. policy".

     I guess the next step is to see if there is any action around enforcement, *if* hostages are released (which appears to be a precondition for the ceasefire according to the resolution)

     @derek this seems significant? Hasn't the US used its veto power constantly in support of Israel? Is this crack in that alliance?
