The evil one and those who do his bidding have worked tirelessly to corrupt perception of any and all forms of real beautiful love into shameful debauched acts and grotesque mockery of goodness. They do this to push people away from a loving God who wants us to know and love Him. This is why evil hates what is Good. This is why evil hates what is beautiful.   love can mean several different words in the greek right, that mean different forms of love.

  @silas @Saber @transgrammaractivist @BowsacNoodle i know at least two in greek, agape, which is the concept of wishing for the good of someone else, which is a form of love, then there is philia, which is brotherly love, there are more words for different concepts of love, i just dunno 'em off the top of my head, but those are two that are mentioned in the bible most often.

  so people just interpret the bible in english as having "warm fuzzy feelings"
