      例えばBlueskyにいらしたのは、オレゴン州選出の上院議員のRon Wydenさん https://bsky.app/profile/wyden.senate.gov 。カスタムドメインはsenate.govのサブドメインになっていて、 https://www.senate.gov/usage/internetpolicy.htm 3.2.1にある名字を含むという規則に倣っているようにみえる。

      このポリシーには上院議員ではなくなった時にどうなるのかは書かれていない感じ。というわけで最近上院議員になった方の前任の方について調べてみると、DNSレコードはしばらくしてから削除されるみたい。例えば、 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_current_United_States_senators より、カリフォルニア州選出のLaphonza Butlerさんの前任は2023年9月に亡くなったDianne Feinsteinさん https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dianne_Feinstein で、www.feinstein.senate.gov は現在は存在しないけれど、Wayback Machine https://web.archive.org/ によると、2024年3月8日(たった何週間か前だ)まではクロールできていて、最後は、www.senate.gov への301になっていたみたい。
