Flaky :blue_jay: (flaky@furry.engineer)'s status on Saturday, 23-Mar-2024 10:03:34 JST Flaky :blue_jay: Right, so I think I'm ready to dip back into Linux once again. OR maybe I have unmanaged OCD or ADHD and I really should get that shit checked for crying out loud.
And I was thinking, do I go for something stable or go right back into Arch? And my brain keeps going back to Arch. IDK, I think it's just my bread and butter - what I'm used to. And the problems I've had with my last Arch install are not the fault of Arch:
- VMware not working on Wayland isn't really Arch's fault. It's VMware's. Mesa's VirGL driver for Windows guests cannot come soon enough.
- I have this issue where the wifi driver keeps panicking on spotty 5ghz connections. But that's not the fault of Arch, either. That's on Linux itself. And yeah, it's Linux's fault not Arch's specifically.
I'm going to keep the Windows partition around for when I need it, but for music listening that can be stuck in a VM.
