     Funny miscommunication can be hilarious. I'm remembering a short fic in which substitute teacher WWX introduced himself as "a sub" to Dom LWJ

     Oh it was actually pretty good because of course WWX discovered he was very into being a submissive after he worked out there had been a miscommunication.

     I don't remember if LWJ even realised that there'd been a miscommunication until after WWX had already become LWJ's submissive. At which point he would've already been so contented that no embarrassment about miscommunication could touch him.

     @lookitmychicken @Betty wow that particular one hits my second hand embarrassment squick pretty hard! But in general I do prefer miscommunication to be on the shorter side
