     Not necessary. At least in terms of content you see it works pretty much as fedi. Follow people and custom feeds you like and you'll be good, no bizarre recommendation algorithms will throw trash in your feed.
     
     Although if you wish to follow far-right stuff and call a nigger everything that moves than yes it isn't allowed there as far as i know 🤷♀️
