@DuhLaurien@mk.spook.social Joining the Fediverse, or moving away from proprietary software and corporate controlled technology in general, is really not that difficult. It's legitimately easier than it ever has been. It just requires a bare minimum of time + effort which people are unfortunately too lazy to volunteer to themselves. They'd rather be data-slaves and profit bad companies, enabling bad behavior which abuses them, than spend an hour or two of their week to start moving away to something more free and healthy. @freeschool@qoto.org
And I have had to reach deep down into the sacrifice box to do various things as solutions / tests - not all work - but here's some tips that worked...
3█ Show them the existing people- so it's not banging empty drum about 'better'
☑️ because in many ways (for them) they are right it's not more people but still plenty so no need promote that as technically number of people they win but quality people... maybe also they win but Fediverse is still good! (and I've actually almost 'researched' this by trying EVERYONE that it's not always easy / all are triggered!) but ❤️ :fediverse:

Like anything extra in life or another account - we sheep don't need / want it... until we see the candy or can try it somehow... then the brain wants! Not easy though...
Coming over here for a breather. We need a Fight the FUD site for DeMu because the excuses people employ to keep clicking on The Platform are FUCKING LAME.
Examples: 1) It's too hard (NOT) 2) You have to run a node (actually, no) 3) You'll never get discovered (BS!)
