@MissQuerade@nfld.me As an expert on Spongebob lore I want to report that this is misinformation!
In the episode "Annoy Squidward Day" is shown to be on the 15th, but the episode never mentions which month it is.
@MissQuerade@nfld.me My personal head canon is just that "Annoy Squidward Day" is the 15th of every month.
@MissQuerade@nfld.me I actually rewatched the episode and because this was bothering me and it turns out I was wrong!
The episode later shows an empty frame for the employee of the month competition with "January" written on it, which implies that the episode takes place in January, meaning the 15th of January is "Annoy Squidward Day".
@MissQuerade@nfld.me But wait the calendar shows only 28 days which means it's February!
@MissQuerade@nfld.me There's more!!
In another shot the calendar is different yet again!!
I'M LOSING MY MIND
THIS IS UNWATCHABLE
I HATE THE ANIMATORS OF THIS SHOW
@slash@cdrom.tokyo @MissQuerade@nfld.me Thinks very hard about it
"Don't think too hard about it."
@SuperDicq @MissQuerade they’re at the bottom of the ocean so day night is probably a different cycle just in terms of light penetration, might even be a lunar cycle in spite of month names since tides are going to be the more important indicator. Don’t think too hard about it.
