     @CenturianFrend @sickburnbro I just quoted from the Old Testament about the right view of Justice. Jews deliberately misinterpret the lex talionis of Exodus 21:23-24 and Leviticus 24:19–21 to get back at anyone for any petty reason, hence Christ correcting the Sanhedrin's misuse of the lex talionis in the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5:38, rather than what is often assumed to be Him overriding it

     @sickburnbro @SuperSnekFriend @CenturianFrend I was taught that being backhand slapped was a sign of disrespect. Being open palm slapped meant you were seen as an equal. A jew would be backhanded by a roman to say "youre a bitch and an untouchable" and Jesus said turn the other cheek for them to hit you with the other side of their hand as a way to insult them back.
