Lazytoot: is there a USB-only KVM switch to switch between two computers (my monitor can already take multiple inputs so I don't need to switch HDMI or DP).
What is that even called? KM switch?

@thomasfuchs by this I assume you mean a USB switch, but with maybe keyboard awareness to have a hotkey/combo to trigger the switch? (USB switches, even usb 3.2, are plentiful and cheap)
@thomasfuchs Ooooh, you share my niche use case!
Here’s the one I have, includes Thunderbolt 4 capability: https://amzn.to/49SkHFW
@thomasfuchs I can vouch for https://github.com/haimgel/display-switch in combination with any off the shelf USB switch (for example https://www.microcenter.com/product/665085/ugreen-2-in-4-out-usb-30-sharing-switch-box). The software runs on each machine that you want to switch between, and listens for USB devices appearing/disappearing.
When they do, it tells the monitor to switch inputs via some monitor firmware black magic that I don't fully understand. Works great though!
@colinm oh that's neat
