My main goal for today is looking for a good DaVinci Resolve alternative for Linux and nuke my old Windows partition (after checking I saved my files somewhere)
Any suggestions?

@thegamerstavern If you don’t mind proprietary, Lightworks (https://lwks.com) has been solid in my experience.
Otherwise there are a handful of free and open ones (Kdenlive, OpenShot, etc.) that are varying degrees of usable/stable and I hear folks are using Blender even (never tried it for that purpose myself).
@thegamerstavern Yep. It worked well for me :)
@aral I should check a list of supported codecs and outputs before buying the lifetime license.
Have you got any experiences with LKWS?
