   In Apples ongoing Yankee Zog vs Eurotrash Zog fight, the company will permit EU users to download apps directly from the developers' websites rather than using the App Store.

     @quercus Apple will try and milk every last cent. They will not allow third party app stores because they can not levee a fee on the use of the store.

     Why does apple see their users as their product by selling access to them?
     I thought it was their main selling point against google that they didn't.
