   @mattontech Also, a TikTok ban would most be to Meta/FB's benefit in terms of solidifying their monopoly in social media. They own almost everything in social and this would be the crowning achievement since they spent millions lobbying in favor of a ban it's no secret.

     I thought it was bizarre when the Democrats started to pick up the TikTok ban, because that was Trump's shtick.

     And now Trump says he doesn't want to ban TikTok, though only because he would rather censor Meta. Broken clock right twice a day and all that.

     Still, so silly. How about just don't ban either of them.
