     @AnarchoNinaWrites I'll stop bringing up my identity in politics as soon as politicians cease trying to make it illegal, immoral, or despicable in their public statements.

     They seem to have given up on dogwhistles at this point, so it's not like you can claim ignorance when they call gay people filth, black people violent, and trans people perverts.

     There was a time when I was ignorant enough to believe "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." There was a time when I was prepared to tolerate some reaction because "well white people be like that." There was a time when I was desperate for loud, influential friends, yelling at the same bougie liberals I wanted to yell at in my writing.

     That time has long since passed. I'm not interested in crypto-strasserism and class reductionists. Get out.

     I would absolutely say linking to the WSWS is one of the top five most embarrassing things I've ever done as a leftist or a writer; the only reason it's not number 1 is because I've shared Glenn Greenwald and Matt Taibbi links. I know what these folks are about now, I left that bullshit behind years ago, and I've done enough decolonization to be ashamed of my old self...
