     @miscbrains @coolboymew @mangeurdenuage @ooignignoktoo for handheld emulation I have a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 on a Retroflag GPi case running Recalbox, it's a pretty good system and it uses AA batteries. It can even emulate PS1 perfectly, but the controls may be lacking for some games

     @coolboymew has an Analogue pocket and has said nice things about it. I would get one but I already have 3 Gameboy Colors and 3 GameBoy Advance systems and a Super GameBoy 2 I use on the Super NT so I feel like the product isn't up my alley. If you don't have any modded GBA's or anything of that sort the Analogue Pocket is a good product.

I only found some of my carts tho. Tore my place up looking for my gba carts. Found the box and manual for ffta, but the cart is awol. :cat-die:
     My vita battery is pretty fucked, otherwise i'd use that for all my portable emulation needs lol. But the screen on the pocket is very fancy, and the supported systems are pretty crazy.

     @ooignignoktoo@shitposter.club @mangeurdenuage@shitposter.club Yeah it's pretty great, was super happy to be able to plugin my carts and have them look their best on a modern display. It worked fantastic on my old 1080 plasma.
     
     I got the pocket very recently, but haven't really spent time to get ALL the things going on that yet.

     Super NT is nice I got one ( black ) and it upscales SNES games on an HD set very nicely and the extra filters / features are nice. I jailbroke mine and was using it to play through Terranigma I got about 1/2 way through the game and I stopped for some reason I need to go back and finish.

     @mangeurdenuage Chrono Trigger was a really good game. I just started another playthrough recently and I'm at the prehistoric 65 million bc part of the game. I still say that's my least favorite part but the rest of the game more than makes up for it.

     @anonicus @coolboymew @mangeurdenuage @miscbrains @ooignignoktoo there's a newer model that uses an internal battery. i think there's also a mod to replace the AA batteries. or you could just use an external power bank
