@NeonPurpleStar @lain @augustus @lebronjames75 I'm sure there are other worse takes that I have made.
I still think that what I said here is generally true. It might still take a change in government or a few more generations to see the change. I just don't think that the russian people are that bad, that they have kind of been westernised because of what gets imported. At least the younger generations or english speaking ones. Have the elite children get educated in Germany or Britain, somewhere with prestige in the west... it is amazing what educational propaganda does to young minds. I'm not advocating that we should do this, it just seems really effective. More than wars. I was amazed to learn about a few instances of how cosy Russians are in the west. One guy owned a football club and basically had to give it away. Foreign investment is insane.

@sim @lain @augustus @lebronjames75
sim, every discussion has to begin with the fact that ukraine has EVERY right to be a sovereign country, they HAVE the right to be allies with whomever they want, and be politically aligned with whomever they want
talking about how "the west" was secretly influencing them to do one thing or another is just bullshit to gaslight from the fact that russia blatantly invaded a sovereign nation
so i am not willing to pariticipate in any of these idiotic conspiracies which most definitely emanate from russia, and that's why i deleted that comment

won't watch this, and i don't give a damn
my stance is and will remain that ukraine gets ALL THE GUNS till it eviscerates all the invaders
"invaders must die" should become it's new national anthem

@sim @NeonPurpleStar @augustus @lebronjames75 @hakui germany still has the right and the means, nordstream isn't completely broken. There's german-owned gas right now in russia that doesn't flow to germany because the german government doesn't want it.

Germany should have had the right to buy cheap oil or petrol from Russia, rather than having the Nordstream blown up. I should have the right to view whatever Russian propaganda that I want rather than it being banned in my country. I should have the right to have a country that isn't influenced by the EU or even the US/NATO (I'd say the Russians too but they aren't my main concern)... but we can't all have what we want because of geopolitics.
Also, I didn't realise that the post in question had been deleted when I replied so apologies on that front.

@NeonPurpleStar @sim @augustus @lain @lebronjames75 canada should have the right to be allied with china and park their missiles along the border so that china can strike DC within 5 minutes instead of 20

@lain @NeonPurpleStar @augustus @sim @hakui why do you keep saying that
Russia stopped the pipeline without warning way before it was blown up
You would have never ever gotten it, it's a schizo belief you have if you even remotely think there was a chance to even get it
