I mean it's important to understand that fascists who have good opinions on one singular issue are still just fascists. Fascists who want public healthcare? Still fascists. Fascists who like camping? Still fascists. Fascists who oppose banks? Still fascists. Right now lots of fascists are making hay off opposing a genocide in Gaza, doesn't mean the rest of their ideological cluster isn't fascist (this is not about that lady.) Why do they hide, try to trick you? Cause nobody likes fascists.

For example, remember when Tulsi Gabbard was "anti-war" but it turned out she was FINE with bombing brown people, her problem was sending American soldiers off to die? Like that. Their arguments are usually STILL very basic bitch shit, and rooted in reaction and fascism.

Ⓐ Dirk Ritter (gnumatic@deppenkessel.de)'s status on Tuesday, 05-Mar-2024 09:05:08 JST Ⓐ Dirk Ritter Yeah. Fascists for Palestine? Mostly thin veneer for anti semitism. Against banks? Mostly the same. Against war in Ukraine? Ask and they're just okay with them, living under the boots of modern day tsar Putler.
It doesn't stop there. Nowadays they've even got "unions". Dig a little and it's just "STFU your boss is right we all must work harder" and of course blind, stupid nationalist pride that's merely worth a cheap laugh in a heavily intertwined global economy.

Sally Strange (sallystrange@eldritch.cafe)'s status on Tuesday, 05-Mar-2024 09:58:07 JST Sally Strange @AnarchoNinaWrites People who are leftists tend to forget that the enemy's ideas are unpopular and that ours are popular. Lefty ideas are popular on account of how they're aimed at improving living conditions for, you know, the populace. The natural result of this situation is that people who are not leftists are constantly lying about their unpopular ideas, trying to give them a popular, left-ish disguise.
It doesn't help that the unpopular liars have literally infinite amounts of money to spend on propaganda, of course. But still. At least try to think about this, kids.
