     @a1ba But nothing is said about others not being able to, I don't believe GPLv3 is revocable in that way

     @a1ba @th3rdsergeevich Remember the GBA being emulated before it even launched? Didn't stop it from being a certifiable top seller and having a gamedev scene which thrives to this day.

     @a1ba I'm not a big Nintendo sympathizer, but they had it coming in a long run.

     That'll teach people not to emulate machines within the lifecycle.

     @allison @a1ba I'm not familiar with GBA emulator, but I doubt there were problems with cryptographic keys.
