   As a former #journalist (worked as one for 15 years), it makes me sad to read stories like this.

   I made the hard decision to reskill and ventured into the wilds of content marketing, public relations and finally in my happy place, technical writing.

   But I’d do anything to go back to the way it used to be during the golden years, when I was paid to be a busy body.

     @liztai none of my journalist friends are working journalists anymore. Only one works in the industry at all. At least none of them work for Murdoch.
